11000th Post - Female Giant Kingfisher.

I cant believe that Ive racked up another 1000 posts. I obviously spend too much time on the site. Well, to share it with you, here is one of my favourite species that I love to photograph. This is a female giant kingfisher, very recognizable, as she has the bronze on the lower part of the body, and the male has the bronze on the upper part. Taken in the Pilanesberg nature reserve a while back. The BG is a distant OOF mountain.
