I was lucky enough to capture a series of BB plover shots in flight, these are really fast birds, I hope you enjoy.

man you gotta be kidding me. wish was living around you :) great image quality, bird position, framing and that dark complimenting bg. i love em all.
This must be one of the best flight shots ever taken of this bird! Superb work!!! The big version looks much nicer especially because I assume it was converted to sRGB and I can see the true beautiful colours....
I just looked at all your smugmug pictures of this BB plover and they are all amazing. Your hand eye coordination, quick technical skills just blow me away. I have a lot to learn...
Stunning image, love the wings.10 out of 10 from me!
Gail
Arash, great wing position, and this is tack sharp. Love the complimentary colour of the BG. Well captured.
You are definitely becoming the HH BIF Guru.
This is sharp!!
Cheers, Jay

Arash, Not an easy bird to capture in flight and you nailed it! Sharp, well placed in the frame and a pleasing BG.![]()
Agree with Ofer again! You are right about your being lucky. You are lucky that you are so skilled and that you work so hard. Ditto all the positives above esp. the killer downstroke wing position.

Oh brother ... I had been speechless for the last hour after opening this.
With reflexes like that, I'm pretty sure you can catch flies with chopsticks :)
The best BB plover image in flight I've ever seen.

Wow!!!
A Beauty, Arash, when I saw these on your site the other day, I was blown away.
As good as this is, I still think you have a couple of others that were even better.
Just great technique.
Dan Kearl
Great job, I checked out your SM I agree with Gail, looks like you got several keepers. Congrats!
I'd love to have that one . It is super.I love everything about it but at a learning perspective I am a little confused that no one addressed the possibility of more room to fly into making the bird a little less centered.
Don't get me wrong I love this image , I'm just trying to learn to be the best and I see some images get critiqued for this kind of subject position being too centered? I personally like them off centered but not way to the edge of the frame but feel the latter being favored.
As presented, there is about twice as much room from the bird's bill tip to the frame-edge than there is from the bird's tail tip to the frame-edge. It is not centered. A bit more room in front would be nice in an ideal world.

Sir Arthur, with much respect I wasn't implying that the bird was centered as it obviously is not and I know that Arash knows better than that. I was merely stating that no one addressed the possibility for more room to fly into where I usually see that being said here.I personally like the image alot but am trying to learn as I stated. IMO as I have learned about another inch or so on the left would have been ideal. Just wondered why it wasn't addressed especially by you The master critic.![]()
Sorry. I had just skimmed your comment. But I just read it more carefully and you wrote in part, ".....make it a little less centered" so I do have some wiggle room.... In order for something to be a "little less centered" it had to be centered to being with![]()

OK soooo I'll give you the wiggle room if you stop skimming over my comments![]()

Cheryl when I print my images or display them on my 30" minitor (2560 X 1600 pixels) I put a bit more room but for web presentation I like to crop tight. My eyes are really sensitive to detail and if the bird gets smaller than certain size in the photo it just doesn't work for me. Since we are limited to only 1024 pixels here I often go as tight as possible unless there is an element in the BG that I want to show.
Thanks for your comments!
