    This recently fledged Roseate Spoonbill was photographed on the Alafia Banks with James Shadle last year. I really like the lush greens of this capture. You can tell it's a young Spoonie b/c of its pale pink color and the black wing tips. They are such fun to watch and photograph, and I can't wait until next season!

    Canon 1D3, Canon 400DO & 1.4 TC
    F8, 1/1600sec, IS0 400, manual mode

    Really nice shot. I love the wingspread and the dangling feet. Beautiful details in the pale pink feathers and tack sharp. Perfect comp. A keeper for sure,

    Sharp. Nice image design. EXP right on but you might wish to tone down the WHITEs a bit. You handled the somewhat bright light well.
