One more Roseate from the weekend this one with a better HA but without the water drops ( sorry Artie but he is still slightly angled away from me).

Hi Don, This is way better. I have no problem when the bird is angled away as long as you have a perfect look-back head angle. And you have just that here. Otherwise all loverly. EXP, colors, light, and BKGR are all very sweet.

Do you like the out-of-place feathers?

I think that you meant "add." I am fine with the ones on the upper back but the others make the bird look a bit disheveled to me. Love those blues.

    Where?

Artie it has been my experience that a disheveled morning is usually an indication of an interesting evening not so sure how it works out in the animal world. image was made on Marco Island

Don, very nice shot. I don't mind the feathers that are displaced. Excellent colors and pose!

Oh my! I hope I did not offend with my comment about your other image. It wasn't even so much the head angle as the total disconnect between the bird and the viewer, which Artie helped to clarify with his comment about the angle of not only the head but the body. You've done yourself proud with this one. The bird is still going about his business but I'm drawn right in to the image because of the eye contact. Love the raised foot and the beautiful colors. Thanks, Don.
