    Hi Arash,
So you DO take pictures of birds on the ground!!Superb IQ and techs and I love the fluffed up pose. The broken seashells make for a great ground perch. My only nit is the stuff on the beak (you could clean that up in a second!). I think this is a semipalmated sandpiper but I am no expert. Lovely image,

    Arash:

Sharp, well exposed, excellent shooting angle, shells do make an interesting 'beach' for him.

    Pleasant soft BG

Since he is a bit scruffy, I am OK with the feather on beak, fits his look.

I could see a version with the luminosity of the shells toned down a sliver.

Gorgeous light, ruffled up pose, and details. The large version is just superb, Arash.
I'm with you on the ID.

Black-bellied Plover in molt it is...perfect theme image! I love the pose and the shell floor. I'd only eliminate the faint secondary catchlight below the main one. All else looks super.

Super high-quality image. I like the perfect profile, the sharpness, the shell-y beach, and the warm light.

Hi Arash, superb larger version. I like the light and colours in this, good feather detail, and if anything, I would maybe add a touch to the bottom.

Very nice Arash, although the in flight ones on your smugmug are really great.
The feather as shown on the large version is a nice touch.

Super image - love the pose and the bg. Wonderful light. Stunning detail in the larger image. I thought for a moment that you might have a young American Golden-Plover because of some darkness underneath, but I'll go with Daniel's confirmation of your ID.

Bill, It looks like it has a vestigial hind toe which would not be found on a AMGP from what I understand.

Arash, Beautiful ruffled pose and I like the blue BG and that you can see the feet.
