excellent low angle and interaction, nice details too. Overall looks a bit dark on my screen and I'd put more space to the left. The green water is a bonus

I agree with Arash. Here is a quick repost to address the two issues.
Thank you Ofer.
My pp skills are not great and because of the flash, when I tried to lighten it, the flash effects showed too much.
Yours looks nice and I appreciate it.
I don't know how you got room to the left, I had a bit more but cropped it a bit tight although the photo is almost full frame

Dan, Ofer's repost cranks this nice photo up a notch as I agree, the OP was a bit dark. Very nice capture here Dan.
Love the repost! I like the interaction between the 2 ducks.

Dan:
I like the two boys together, good shooting angle, nice water.
Agree with Arash and Ofer about the image being too dark as posted. The increased brightness and extra canvas do help.
The flank on the left bird is too hot now, probably from flash reflection off the water. Would be easy to tone down with a small amount of burning of that area.
Cheers

Dear Dan
You have captured them beautifully and as experts says processing is as necessary in digi era ..
I have worked little on your file ...
Opened your jpg in ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) 1 EV exposure , few point brightness, 7 recovery, Temperature +4, Tint 0 then opened in photoshop.
masked the whites from your original posted Multiplied those white mask 70% transparency...
very quick work on adding canvas as its surely needed. little more time spending can produce some good hard to say work..
hope you like it.
Thanks, Mital, yours is even better as you did cut the whites.
I do realize that I need to improve PP skills, but just haven't been doing this that long.
Less than a year.
I also use NX2 which does not have an "Add Canvas" feature, so I may get Photoshop.
I also need to just get better "in Camera" photos, as I feel that is the best way to get good photos.
Thanks everybody for the comments.

Hi Dan a beautiful image of these two together. The colours are amazing and like the brighter reposts.
