    One more Ridgefield Bittern. Nikon D2X's, 80-400vr at 370mm, iso 400 f/5.6, 1/160sec, +.33 matrix metering, wb daylight. Cropped vertical from horizonal. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.

    Craig,

    Great camouflage shot, this is what I call blending-in. Like the placement of the subject in the corner and vert crop make the image strong. I like the reflection too and it balances the frame. Nice job, I really like this picture, thanks for posting.

    This is really an awesome picture and works GREAT for the theme. Good call on making it a vertical, esp with that reflection. There is one problem I am seeing. Your horizon is off. You can tell this b/c the tip of the beak of your bird shoudl be in a direct line with the tip on the reflection.

    Hi Craig, great theme shot that reallly illustrates the concept. Super image and nicely done! Does need some CW rotation. Thanks for posting.

    Craig, you nailed the rotation correction - good show! The easiest indicator is usually the eye, when it lines up vertically you are good to go. I really like this image a lot!
