    Default After the Wave

Another of my crashing wave images from Lake Superior last week. This one does include more of the small peninsula, but was captured after the big crash with the water flowing back down off the rock. I like this one for the undulating water around the rocks. Again this is a stormy situation.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew - I like the blues and the water flowing off the rocks but IMHO there's too much negative space in the URC. I preferred the big splash of your prior image. Looking forward to seeing more from your outing.

Andrew, I like this one better, the BG is much better, but a bit too much.
I would just crop some off the top, the water is really well done, nice SS used and the colors are
    again really nice.

Hi Andrew, very nice image. I like the sharpness and great dynamic range of the colors. The blurred flowing water makes this very attractive. Agree that the image may gain strength from removing some off the top.

I would agree that a crop from the top to just above the trees is needed to accentuate the rocks and water. That much BG is not needed here. Good choice on shutter speed. I too like the look of the FG water.
