Wonderful portrait. I like the stare of the lioness, the background and the detail. Good composition, maybe a little clockwise rotation will improve the lionesses stance!!! Well done.

Well done all around. Perfect DOF for the subject walking at you at an angle. Unobtrusive BG and FG and great look on the face of the lion.

Congrats on your milestone mate. May you share many more with us. Excellent IQ here, and the light and detail are exquisite. Great all round sharpness too, and agree, a touch of CW rotation will work.

I took the liberty of completing an image with the rotation. Please ignore the space around the lioness and I hope you dont mind. I forgot to give congrats on 2000th post. Well done!!!

Thanks all for the comments and such...Mark thanks for the rework...In the scene she was actually walking up a slight slope but if you all feel it will strengthen the walk I will try it. Mark how much rotation did you do in degrees, as I fell now it feels like she is walking down hill...So I would like to try some where in between

I agree Dumay, I exaggerated it a bit. All I did was go to rulers in CS5, Mark a start point and place the ruler at the end point, wherever you feel it needs to be. Go to Image then rotation and then Arbitrary and the comp will work it out for you. I used the back and the shoulders as the points, but you can do better. Nice image though and I wish I was there now for the next month to take images. You are so lucky.

Fabulous light, IQ and angle here Dumay, and big congrats on the milestone!
Looking forward to the next 2,000 and ditto Steve, the bar has been raised now

I am fine with the angle in the OP (and I am usually anal about rotations)...I guess I could see she was on an incline and the angle towards the viewer is pleasing to me.

Very sharp image and great color. Actually like the first post. A little more room around the lion.

Dumay, congrats on 2000 posts (and more), I've appreciated all your helpful comments on my images through those 2000. It shows just how much you have contributed to this site and how much you have been prepared to help others when you have only started 130 threads. Great %.

And I love this image, beautiful IQ … no critique from me.
