Wow, Kerry. On first look, I may have missed it, it's so well camouflaged. I can see why you picked this one for the theme.

Kerry, that is camouflaged. Nice theme picture.

Nice HH detail for 1/25, steady as she goes. No caffeine that morning

Jeff, you don't miss any of the tech stuff do you... I am blessed with the ability to be very still when necessary. As a boy in Indiana I hunted, and I qualified as a "sharpshooter" in the US Army which might be why they sent me to VN, but that's another story - best told over beer. At any rate, it's the same skills - getting settled and caressing the shutter button.

Kerry, now that is -- effective -- camouflage! I hunted as a kid too (but in West Virginia), qualified as a "sharpshooter" in the Army, as well, and was sent to the Philippines -- WWII. There seems to be an age difference here. If I buy the beer can we talk? I plan to "get serious" after my birders post and put up a bittern later today.

    Kerry,

I was born in Indiana and am proud to be a hoosier. Not in the army but raised by a Marine, so I had a slightly different tour of duty. One day in the future we need to plan a trip and shoot together and of course dinner and drinks are part of the process,.and Wendell is welcome too.

Jeff, that's a hoot! I moved to California from Nashville in 1972. We have a few other Hoosiers here on the boards.

Sounds good, Kerry, though the effects of age limit my mobility and stamina a bit . . .
