I took my originally edited coot image into Snapseed on the iPad and made 2 versions of it and I layered them with the lighter, bluer one on top in multiply mode at 40%. I added a bit more vignette in Ps.

Judy, I love the pose and your treatment. The reflection almost looks like fractalius. The texture and vignette looks great

    Hi Judy,

The texture you added to this is very complimentary of the image; I wish there was a little feather detail in the head, but I like the dark tone and the antique-finish. The vignette adds a finished look...to my eye it may need just a bit of CCW rotation (looking at the ripples in the water). Nice bit of processing!

Thanks John! I straightened it a bit.

Hi Judy, I prefer the repost. I can't get over how big the feet are on these guys. Love the reflection and the texture. I only wish we could see an eye, but the head looks like it is in a position that the eyes are not that visible. Nice work!

Great pose and texture work, Judy. I love the reflection and vignette. I think I would prefer more shadow detail, particularly in the head if possible.

Judy, Great suggestions already given. I like the reflection maybe even more than the coot. Nice job with the Snapseed.

Like the composition and texturing on this, Judy! The reflection and ripples look great, and vignette works great. Agree with John on wishing for more detail around head, but still nicely done.

Thanks Andrew! No there was not much detail in the eye and Snapseed and other iPad apps with "effects" don't offer much in the way of control like using Ps so it's WYSIWYG. And the shadows were deep since it was made late in the day.

Thanks Christopher. In my reply to Andrew I explained that Snapseed doesn't offer much in the way of controls and no layers of course, so it's just take it or leave it.
