Rohan, that's a killler background....great use of selective focus...wonderful color...too bad the little critter wasn't heading toward you! A very strong image as it is...love the "twist" to the strand of grass that it's on...it adds an interesting element to the composition. If it were mine, I might try to lighten the URC...or blend in the green from the rest of the background in that small area. Nicely done.
Some good advice above...good work, sharp insect and good background...gotta love the 105vr, great lens
Very cool looking composition, Rohan! Like the tight rope walking pose, and great BG. Some good suggestions above, but very nicely done!
Excellent composition and nice sharp.. Beautiful BG also.. Wonderful Macro Rohan..
Thank you all ...
John, I am going to figure out how to fix the URC ... thank you for the feedback!
Hi Rohan and welcome to the Macro forum! This is very nice first post and John has given you some excellent advice above with which I would agree, so I won't repeat. My only additional suggestion is that you might try some nr on the background to smooth it out a little more.I hope to see more of your work!
Thank you Steve... I need to spend more time putting together a PP work flow ...
I just tried to post a new picture ... but hit some 2880 mins timeout limit till I can start a new thread ...
That explains! Thank you, Steve.
Evocative. Ditto John and the rest. Sharpest focus seems to be on the back rather than the head. Colors and BKGR too sweet.

Thank you for the feedback Artie. By 'too sweet' should I understand that the colours are too saturated?
