Rohan, that's a killler background....great use of selective focus...wonderful color...too bad the little critter wasn't heading toward you! A very strong image as it is...love the "twist" to the strand of grass that it's on...it adds an interesting element to the composition. If it were mine, I might try to lighten the URC...or blend in the green from the rest of the background in that small area. Nicely done.

Very cool looking composition, Rohan! Like the tight rope walking pose, and great BG. Some good suggestions above, but very nicely done!

Hi Rohan and welcome to the Macro forum! This is very nice first post and John has given you some excellent advice above with which I would agree, so I won't repeat. My only additional suggestion is that you might try some nr on the background to smooth it out a little more. I hope to see more of your work!

Evocative. Ditto John and the rest. Sharpest focus seems to be on the back rather than the head. Colors and BKGR too sweet.

Thank you for the feedback Artie. By 'too sweet' should I understand that the colours are too saturated?

YAW. No, by "too sweet" I mean that they are very beautiful. Thanks for asking
