Default Osprey Bringing In Nesting Material

This is another image from my recent trip to SW Florida. This Osprey image was taken at Ding Darling. This Osprey was bringing in nesting material to one of the nesting platforms that are near the road around the refuge. I removed part of the nesting platform from the lower left part of the image.

    Thanks for your comments.

    Hello Keith,

I hope the osprey is alive as you shot him! :)

I like the composition very much, I also think you did well by removing the nest. The whites looks good but I would love to see him bigger in the frame.

    Keep them coming!

Beautiful capture with excellent exposure and lighting as well as wonderful action.. The stick is a great bonus in this capture. Fine work Keith and many thanks for sharing.

Excellent image. I think by removing the nest you created too much empty space. I would crop a bit different here. Thanx for sharing a fine image.

Nicely done. I like the juxtaposition of the stick with the tail. With the light from the left, the bird's face and body are in shadow but you have done a good job with that. If you could have moved well to the left you would have had a better light angle to work with.

I like it a lot Keith. Nice and sharp with good light. I would like to see the bird a little larger in the frame, but it's also nice as is.
