Jay, I love the strong lines in the composition of this image; the diagonals of the grill and the hood, the curves of the bumper and the fenders...all leading into and through the image. The effect of your filtering on the grass in the foreground is effective dimensionally; I wish you had let just a bit more of the wispy textures and details show through; to my eye the "clumpiness" makes it a little bit of a competitive element. The strong blues and reds work really well; the headlights and the license plate are strong and effective anchors in the photo. It might have been nice to have a little bit more room on the RHS, but it is very effective as is...nicely done!!

P.S. It was great seeing you again today...enjoyed the time and the beers!

Jay, I really like this! The Nik filter added a different dimension and texture to an already great image. The blues and reds and great and I like the different round elements, especially the aqua hubcap and the smaller lights above the headlights. (The lights look like eyes to me). Great job

Hi Jay, great looking truck. I like the filtering you have applied. The grasses look like wheat. I'd like the truck a little more to the left. You mention this is a tight crop so I presume you have a little room to play with cropping. Nice work!

Looks like a psychedelic paint job on the hood, love these old truck images. Like the effects, the look of the grasses under the truck and composition...well done

Jay, This is fantastic! I like what you've done with the filtering. The in your face comp. and the grasses are terrific. I think the only part I'm not crazy about is the right where the truck kind of blends into the Bg a little. This is one grunged up old dumper-great job!!! I love it!

Just an idea but what if you revealed the original license plate w/o filter effect.

Denise, You have the great eyes! The right side of the truck had some residual strange effects from the filtering, I did a quick touch up before the post, and it looks it needs more.

Revealing the license plate would be a great touch........I just have to find the layer that crushed it! Thanks, Jay

    I appreciate the feedback.

Cheryl, the hub cap is one of my favorite details in the image. Another thing I didn't see until after I started PP.

John, Andrew...I kept the comp quite tight, more room on the right might take away from the in your face, but I will give it a look.

    Paul, Denise...........thanks
