    Default Black-winged Stilt

Made on a sunny morning in Great Runn of Kutch, Gujarat, India with Canon 7D, Canon 500mm f4+1.4x TC, ISO 200, f5.6, 1/1250 Sec.

Love to have the other foot visible.

The bird is lovely, sharp, well exposed. Eye is excellent. Colors of BG and water work well together.

Only thing lacking is a clear view of both feet.

    Cheers

Agree with your self critique on the other foot . The drop of water at the tip of the beak add to this beauty of an image !!!

excellent sharp image .. for me i might give little cropping from bottom for better weight on stilt.

Girish, So, so sharp with a perfect EXP and a good head angle. It is a shame that the bird was not walking on top of the bank

Fantastic detail, exposure and pose. Agree that it would be better with feet showing and without the lower oof foreground.

The sharpness is A+, but I agree with the others that seeing both feet would have been ideal. Nice exposure as well.

Awesome detail, agree on the feet, envy that low ISO. Was this handheld ?
