    Another from the other morning. A bit windy , so not good for reflections. This sanderling was content to just sit in the water. No preening or feeding. Just chillin.

    Nice when birds cooperate like this. I do wish for more room below and less above, and find the IQ is not quite up to par here - is this a large crop? WB is a bit too yellowish too IMO. I like the tiny waves in the water, and good HA.

    Lovely pose and light. Ditto Daniel's observations about color and comp. Also a slight halo around the bill.

    Sharp but that is about it. Needs a bit more room below. Much too much contrast. If the WHITEs on the neck are not blown they are surely detail-less.

    Would have liked to see more room below for the virtual feet. I am seeing a halo around the bird's head. I think this capture could turn out quite nicely if you started from scratch and reworked it.
