Magnificent image. great BG , exposure and details. Real Sweet!!!!!
And nice feathers they are. Nice detail and water color. I wonder about a slight cc rotation?
I like the water BG, and the duck's pose. The image does indeed need some CCW rotation, and the WB needs some warming up...try adding about 10 points each of red and yellow in PS "Color Balance"...should take care of the bluish cast on the duck.
Thanks and I agree with the rotation (I have a hard time with ducks)
I also changed the Color balance per Daniel's recommendation.
I do not hardly ever change this, the original was out of camera and I set the WB to auto and
do not change it, but I did on this. I agree with Daniel, it looks better to me. I guess I will have to
look at the colors from now on.

Better![]()

Def the repost. I like the nice BG and colors, details are very good but a bit oversharpened, I only wish the head was more parallel with the body, you may also want to selectively sharpen the tip of the bill a tad. Great work

Thanks Arash, I appreciate the advice, as always.
I will use it in the future, I am still getting the hang of "downsizing" for the web and
the sharpening is the result of that.
I always like to hear any C & C I can get and I like to think I will get better at this.

Lovely green water and nice light.
Repost looks very nice.
Details look great, but agree that it's a tad over sharpened.
Wish for less of a head turn. Like the vertical spacing, but find it a tad tight on the left.

Arthur, I was referring to the title "Feathers", as I thought the feathers on the duck were really layered looking and exquisite, and the reason
I posted the image.

Thanks for the EXPL. Nice feather detail and good comments above. A bit too big in the frame...
