    Beautiful bird. I like the "spotlight" on the face, wish the head was turned a little more this way. That perch is overpowering and a bit hot. If the image quality will hold up, I'd crop some more off the right.

    Lowering the ambient exposure and adding some fill flash would help balance the bright BG. Wish for a slight head turn. great detail and comp.

    Good advice by Alan.

    I like the sharpness and the feel. Good IQ and bokeh. If mine, I'd crop a bit from the right...my eye is wandering towards the bright areas there.

    What an elegant, beautiful capture of this waxwing. I would like to see more of a crop from the right too, with some toning down of the bright spots in the perch.
    Love the light falling on his face.

    Thanks everyone. Sorry it took so long to get back I have been a bit busy. I retouched the photo taking all the suggestions I hope you all like the out come...I did.
