    Default a good first meeting

    I was looking for migratory birds when suddenly this sparrow fly front me, i never see it before, like saying "look in me and take a great photo", the sun were harsh, but the bird was perfectly posed, great first meeting with a lifer

    Lovely placement of the subject but seems to be oversharpened to me.

    Raul:

    Excellent pose, like the curving perch, good depth of field. Yes, light a bit harsh.

    Agree with Abdul, he is starting to look a bit oversharpened, a bit 'crunchy'

    Love the detail on the near foot. Might give a sliver more room below if you have it.

    You handled the harsh light well. The eye looks great, but I do feel that the bird is slightly oversharpened. Like Randy, I'd prefer a bit more canvas at the bottom.

    It is always a great feeling when we get excellent photo opportunities with "lifers"!! Well done here, but I agree the subject looks over-sharpened and also agree with more room below. Interesting perch, and nice BG.

    Where was this taken? Do you know which species this is?
