love the clarity of the stem, water drops, etc. and the contrast created by the doff Top of flower looks just a bit blown on my monitor.
Anita, Very different! I love the BG colors. I may have tried to shoot this as a vertical but I can see why you wanted the extra BG area here. I might tone down the top of the flower as Hazel suggests if it were mine. As presented I would take a sliver off the right side to place the bud area directly in the ROT. Nice job hand holding!!![]()
Hi Anita, Good suggestions already made. Just wanted to chime in how much I like the image. The BG compliments the colors and vertical flow of the foreground flower. I love the soft water drop blurs in the BG. Nice work! I also love the field of view of a 50mm lens.
Anita, I can only echo everything that has already been said... just beautiful! Love the simplicity and the beauty of single strand of flower in a wide canvas. Very artistic!
Hi Anita; Hazel and Denise make very good suggestions...I also wanted to echo how much I like the image. Great strand of dew drops down the curved stem...love the blurred linesin the background...present just enough to add interest without distracting from the image...love the single strand of a spider web on the RHS as well. Nicely seen!!!
Another beautiful image, Anita! I'd also take a slight sliver off the right side.
I toned down the flower and took a bit off the right side. Thanks to all for comments and suggestions.![]()
Anita, this is lovely. The iris leaves look like a Monet painting and really highlights the Bachelor Button. The lighting is very nice also![]()
