    Nice foot raise and you are certainly close! The shadow on the breast and front of face is an issue for me. Looks like the sun was coming from the left. I may take some off the bottom and the left. I like how the head has the water as a BG and is not disected by the rock.

    Richard,
    A great look at this handsome fellow. I like the raised foot and nice sharp bird.
    I think that I will send you an alarm clock to get you up EARLY! I have noticed that several of your posts have strong harsh light. If you had this same shot in early morning light it would be superb.
    If you are not against cloning, I might be tempted to clone out the dirt or beach at the top and put all blue water there.

    Dont like alarms they make me remember when I worked lol
    So following your inputs I have

    removed the top bit of scenery, 42 % clone and CA.
    Recropped as per Toms suggestion
    S&H to lighten chest etc and dropped contrast a wee bit
