Great pose, color and light. IQ is great and the underwing detail in the far wing looks good. Comp is spot on!

Arash, for me, this is one of your weaker images.
The head angle looks odd and the IQ is not up to your standards.
Of course, for most of us, it would be a "lifer", for you, not as good as most.
Your images set the standard here, hope you take this in the spirit offered.
You have changed the way I do things and I really appreciate it.

Dan the IQ actually is pretty good actually, in fact it is one of sharpest hawk shots I have taken. I wouldn't post an image if I thought the IQ was bad, I think there might be an issue with your monitor, perhaps a laptop screen?

BTW, I think the head angle is the strongest part of this image, I don't see anything odd with it I would actually say that this is a very good HA given the flight trajectory because 1)it is angled slightly towards the camera 2)eye contact is strong 3) there is no merge between the beak and the far wing so I am pretty happy with it.

Here is a larger version that might help you see the details better, the head is so sharp you can see the blood stains on the beak from the previous meal! I can post a 100% crop but I think the larger size should tell :)
