Just for fun....Can any of you spot why I can't post this in Avian? Did I do a good job of it? I added something to inhance this image....p.s its not the catchlight or OOF foreground, which I really wish wasn't there but sometimes a low angle can be too low. If any of you remember my Snow Bunting it's real easy...no peeking.....

There are some background repeating patterns lower right side, in front of bird beak. Tell-tale of cloning. But patterns occur in nature so could be real. And only a rank beginner of PS cloning would make that mistake.
I'm going to guess it is the two light blue splotches in BG.

Hi Paul...........I don't have a clue, since I don't post on the Avian Forum. Regarding the image, my eye is drawn to that foreground OOF element, where the birds right foot appears to be in the air. I might blend in the background dark spots just behind the birds head. I like the bird, good pose and nice detail on the head and upper body. I'm just having a bit of trouble getting past that left corner foreground OOF. Maybe because it appears translucent? Maybe others have a different view. I agree with Tom on the repeating patterns............
Hey Tom, I catch myself making cloning errors all the time..................;). I like to keep my comments directed toward the image, perhaps you were just kidding.

Greetings. I would guess at some body part replacement for Avian disqualification... further guess would be the feet & legs (abrupt end to foreground blur).
But that would all be a guess, no obvious tells... Good work.
This was one of those time where getting as low as I could, was a bit too low... this plover came in so close, behind some rocks, I cut off the legs. I really liked the birds pose, with a bit of work I added another birds legs....I will continue to work on this image, until there are no blurry rocks and repetition......Way to go Michael....
