Hello everyone. Here is another shot of this juvie black necked stilt. I did remove another stilt that was right behind it. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.

I like the pose and the low angle. Stilts are pretty tough to expose properly when you aren't positioned in between the bird and the sun. I like the idea of fill flash that Arash suggested.

Robert, I feel you have exposed this pretty well as is, and nice and sharp too. If this were mine, I would remove the small OOF piece of grass coming out the middle of his back. I like the inclusion of the surrounding grasses.

A gorgeous image I love the composition and the overall exposure, though I agree the dark feathers on the rear end are a little dark. In this image I think it is a good idea to leave those OOF grasses on top of the back, I think it keeps the scene looking natural, sometimes I think images look a little too clean which is just not always typical of natural conditions. (sorry that's just me - a bit of a hobby horse of mine)

Very pretty bird and I love the hint of habitat in this one. The low angle and the pose are superb. Fill flash sounds like a good idea, and I'd leave more room all around.
Stilts are such lovely birds, and you've captured this juvie beautifully, Robert.
