Another from series - the seals were waiting for the tide to come in, liked the wave splash on this one. Crop, ACR, CS5, bit of blur on BG, lightened eyes some

    Very Nice.
Looks 3d, the DOF and separation between the Seal and the wave is pretty cool.
I like everything about the photo, the pano works well, great pose, nice BG,
    Frame it.

Lovely image. The low angle is nice. The splash has come out well. I think slightly more space at the right to include the water splash making a circle would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.

I like this a lot...I suspect this was planned with the breaking water...Well executed Brendan!

Killer image. Well planned and executed. That wave and the position of the seal just makes this one.

    Brendan,

This is what wildlife photography is all about. The low angle, and freezing of the water with room around the subject provide the viewer with a sense of place and time. I feel as though I am lying next to you watching the scene unfold.
    Love it!

    Best,

    Chas

Thanks everyone, much appreciated! This was the second day of 2-day shoot, crawling slowly on my belly, kind of learning as I go on how to approach, where the best angles are. As I spend time observing them, each seal seems to have their own distinct personality. So enjoyable! Man, I love this so much - and it's so nice to be able to share it with others who love it too!

Brendan lovely image and agree with the above comments. Once again like the eye contact and pose captured. Your timing was spot on, well planned and executed. TFS.

Very nice! Like how the splashing water almost frames the seal.
