    Art,

I like it a lot. The Pano works great for me and compliments the shape of the flock. Nice bands of color. High energy, strong feeling of flight. The only thing I might fool around with are the lower single skimmers under the right hand side single file that almost look like a smudge, one center-right and one far right. Otherwise way, cool.

Thanks. I do see the smudge far right below--not sure what it is. The next smudge and the one behind it are Sanderlings and I like them. I did not even notice them till you pointed them out so thanks!

Artie.....This may be one of my favorite flock blur images! Really like the way you see just enough of the skimmers and still have such a strong sense of motion. You nailed the correct shutter speed! You might consider adding a bit of canvas to the RHS via content aware to give a bit more room for the lead bird to fly into.

Beautiful! The sea weed, the amount of blur, the birds positions and shapes, the wave and the horizon all came together very nicely for this one. My favorite part is the farthest string of skimmers.

Artie, this one is outstanding and one of your best! The flow of the birds against the wave is just beautiful. I love the pano crop and the details on the larger version.

Artie, I'm glad I followed the link and looked at the larger version; as nice as the posted image here is, the larger version just allows you to appreciate it all the more. I love the bands of color, particularly the pastel aqua in the ocean; the wave on the RHS is a nice compositional touch as well. The dual line of skimmers streaming into a single line makes for strong visuals as your eye follows the image...serenity in the midst of flight.
