    Default Hello from Bengaluru, India

    Hello all,

I am a newbie in photography and am really interested in learning more about nature (mostly bird & mammal) photography.
I am originally from Pune, Maharashtra, India, but currently living in Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka, India working as a mechanical engineer in an automobile company.

Any tips to help me take my newfound hobby to the next level one step at a time will be highly appreciated.
Please let me know of any wildlife/birding trips, treks, etc. that I can accompany enthusiasts on or related workshops (not just photography) that i can attend in and around Bengaluru.

'hope to contribute to the forum soon.

    Thanks.

Welcome to BPN, Prasanna. Nice to hear you are becoming more serious about nature photography. You'll find quite a few other nature photographers from your native country on BPN, esp in the avian and wildlife forums. Some of them are running photography tours and/or you could glean information from them on where to go and with whom. We look forward to seeing some of your photos posted here soon!

Welcome to BPN, Prasanna! As Marina said, there are quite a few other photographers from India on here, so they would be the people to go to for info on workshops, tours, etc.

    Default Thanks everyone!

    Thanks everyone.
I look forward to posting some pics too. But am an absolute beginner and don't have any worth posting for C&C right now.
I have all the intentions to make a conscious effort to change that though.
