Default Geometric Theme: Hiedelberg Church Ceiling

    Hello All
Back from limbo, trying to go through the tons of images both in Europe and locally...lots of birds migrating good time to be a bird photographer.
I thought this image fit the theme, I flipped one side of a church ceiling (from Hiedelberg, Germany), then added an HDR effect, cropped and lightly framed.
    Ciao

Hey, Paul, I'm glad you're posting again. I like the flip on one side leaving the base - great idea. It's a neat image - the only thing that is distracting to me are the spotlights hanging from the arches - an easy fix. I like the subtle framing also.

Hi Paul, nice to see you again. I like the geometrical design you created with the image. Thanks for posting a theme image! Love the colors and details and all the interesting shapes.

Neat concept. Great to see you back. I look forward to seeing your best avian stuff. This one looks to me as if it could use a bit more sharpening.

Thank you all for your comments, they are very appreciated

Denise I took so many images of the Castle and city..I'll make sure to post some
Artie, if I get any that qualify for Avian, I'll post them for sure but lately the images in Avian (really, all the forums) are so fantastic, mine pale by comparison, or maybe I'm getting too picky now

Hi Artie & Andrew, Thanks...I used HDR toning in CS5 to create the effect, on this image...it may be the effect, that causes the image to look like it needs sharpening, original is tack sharp. When I get home I'll post the original...I may buy Photomatix, it seems to do a better job of controlling the sharpness during conversion.

Wonderful image. Interesting, complicated, yet ordered. Warm colors. Great composition. Congratulations on the weekly theme win.
