    Standing at the cliff edge, Cape Sao Vicente, Portugal

    Caught full across diagonally in the frame, actually had to add canvas to l, r and base
    NR and sharpened only
    40D 100-400 Ev +.67 1/1600 f 5.6 ISO 400

    Very well done Richard. Excellent incoming view, light angle, lovely bg, exposure and comp.
    There are some repeating patterns in the bottom and right probably from the canvas addition that could easily be addressed.
    On my work monitor it looks like the bird could take a bit more sharpening.
    Very nice image overall.

    Nice image here. I would lower the bird in the frame so the wings are pointing to each corner.

    Nicely done and I like Alan's suggestion. I think that the eye could be sharpened up a bit more.

    I like the pose and angles, even in the BGD. The suggestion by Alan, and maybe lighten and sharpen the eye. Great exposure on the whites.

    Ditto Alan on more room on top and I would sharpen the head a tad more. Gorgeous blue BG goes great with this bird.

    Super flight image with great eye contact, nice exposure and lovely colours. I too like the Gull against the blue BG.

    I will get back to CSV one day soon, was a great place.
    thanks for comments OF had in fact got wing tips at diagonal corners and I had caught the bird exactly in the viewfinder.
    bit late here now may repost avec sharprned eye etc tomorrow
