    i would like some feed back on this image still having problems with sharpening

    The leaves in the background tend to make the shot busy but you've captured the moment Dereck, nice exposure on the Kestrel, well done.

    Hi Derek, nice capture of the feeding behavior - love the little "ruff" under the bill. Nice detail and color rendition, exposure looks spot on to my eye. The shooting angle is a little low, but the added interest of the captured prey makes it excusable for me. I would consider cropping to a vertical, as I don't think the environment on the right is helping the image and in fact detracts from the main action IMO. Nicely done overall.
