This particular pair of francolins have been observed by a friend and myself for the past 6 months. But now they are so comfortable, sometimes they use our car as a hide from danger.

Beautiful pair! Love the composition and the eye contacts from both. Great detail and pattern, nice foreground and oof background. Interesting to know that they use your car as hide.
The only thing I can think of is I hope there is more space on top and left. But then you might end up having them in the center... so I guess its fine.
    Well done!!!

They are indeed a darling pair! You captured the beautiful colors and detailed feather patterns extremely well. And the pose of each bird is fantastic! Very well done!

Wonderful shot, getting good HA on both birds, and terrific feather pattern. Great interaction. I also thought, on first glance, that a slivver more all around wouldn't hurt, but it's very nice just as presented.

Nicely done with just enough DOF. I'd like to see more room all around. And having a pair of birds in the center is generally fine.
