    Hello everyone. Here is one of the first shots I captured of these beautiful birds this season. Hopefully we can get some more rain so they can return. Hope you enjoy. C&C welcomed and encouraged.
    Camera - Nikon 300s, Lense - Nikon 200-400 w/1.4tc, Exposure - 1/160, Aperture - F8, ISO - 320, Exposure Bias - +2/3 EV, Focal Length - 550mm, Metering - Multi Segment, Aperture Priority

    I like the head turn and the nice hue of the water. I might move the bird slightly to the right in the frame, and I'd try to bring out the red in the iris a little more.

    Very nice Robert. I love the silky water, background and nice warm light. I too would move the bird a bit to the right. A little more detail might have been nice but still a superb image.

    Hi Robert, lovely low angle and love the water around this guy.
    Head turn, exposure and light are great.
    +1 to moving him a bit to the right.
