The "potato chip" photo was probably the best I got of a chance encounter with these birds on a hike in the woods.
However, I will post another, which has a messy perch, poor light (but soft) and the usual forest BG.
but is still the habitat they live in.
You should always hike with a 70-200 lens, you never know.

But for the potato chip, the other one was better but only 78,459 times better (for obvious reasons). And that one was in "habitat" too.

You are right Arthur, I knew this would be a bomb here, but was asked for a photo without a chip, I should have thought better.
