I see what you mean regarding a little more space, having said that I think this is one fine image. The light the colours the pose and the focus along with DOF are excellent - a super image.

Nice IQ and colours on the bird, and I love the fresh looking perch. Nice calling pose and great BG too. With this pose I'm thinking a squarish crop may work well here.

Beautiful image. It's true that it could have benefited from more room around the bird, but it's fine as it is.
I love the background and the detail on both the black and the white feathers. The head angle and pose are excellent.

A great pose, perch, and BG. More space wouldn't hurt, but I also like it as it is.

    Keep them coming!

Beautiful image Ramesh! I like the pose, perch, details and BG. I agree with Daniel about a more square composition as an option.

Wow! Is this a painting??? DOF and pose superb. Love those undertail coverts! And the BKGR. And the singing pose. And the raised tail. And the berries.

Did you clone anything out of the BKGR?

Default Repost of the above image with suggestions implemented

This is a repost with the square comp as suggested by Daniel and Jim. I think this is a brilliant idea. Thanks a lot Daniel and Jim for this. Arthur this is a natural BG . We ( A friend and myself) had to literally stand with one foot on the car window and the other on the seat resting our lens on the top of the car to get this background. Luckily for us the Bird was more engrossed in calling the females and did not mind all the ruckus created by us trying to get into position, within a few feet from it.

While I like the repost I much prefer the original composition. I am usually a 3X2 fan.

Love the repost but I agree with Arthur regarding the 3:2 ratio. Congrats on a lovely species, bg, colors and pose.
