    Wonderful shot.. Carlo, First time I have seen this type of flies.. NIce sharp and good details on it.. I think this flies also venomous.. due to its ends telson. .is it??

    Hi Galliani;

    I really like this...nice, smooth BG; great pose, wonderful composition; and an unusual subject! I've never seen one of these...looks like a no-nonsense kind of critter! If it were mine, I might take a sliver off the top....nicely done!

    Hi Carlo. Awesome image! I haven't seen a scorpion fly this colorful in this country. As you point out, despite their somewhat fearsome appearance, they are completely harmless. Excellent sharpness, a nice pose, nice even light, good comp, and a clean background. This is outstanding!

    Just exquisite. Love the selective focus with the soft BKGR. Love the beak (??) and the stinger. Had never seen or heard or one till now. TFS!
