I haven't seen many digiscoped images in these forums since joining recently. I used to do a lot more, but have got away from it in favor of my beloved (Blake!) D300 and better lenses. However, I'm submitting this recent image of Harlequins at Port George, Nova Scotia, with a Sony DSC-W5 p & s attached to the eyepiece of a Kowa 773 scope, at 20X zoom, using the Kowa WA-10 digiscoping attachment. I believe that digiscoping has its place, especially for relatively still birds at middle distance, although it certainly brings its own set of problems in making a decent image. Anyway, any comments appreciated. (I realize the tail of the left hand bird is clipped).
hi richard, i must apologize for not commenting!! the whites look a little hot to me and the eye contact with the birds is just not there. also cut the tails off of both birds. as far as digiscoping, i am not very familiar with that. you have a couple of beautiful birds there. i certainly hope you were able to make some more images as i would love to see some more poses of them.
