    Default Least Tern

Going through some images from past years this evening. Don't know why I never processed this one. Aside from cropping for my desired composition, and slight processing tweaks including taking the blue out of the shadow, this is as captured. It is nice when birds choose a clean part of the beach to hang out.

Thank you for looking and for your comments.

    Grace:

Elegant, clean, nice angle, like the included vegetation, sharp, beautifully exposed !

Fun to find little treasures in the files

    Cheers

What a clean and crisp image, Grace. Love the comp, the clarity. What a beautiful bill. Like the grains of sand kicked up and the OOF grasses. Really a lovely capture.

Perfect in every way: pose, exposure, head angle, and a nice clean setting. I too loved the kicked up sand grains. This bird has one long bill! Also, beautiful light.

A real stunner in all respects, Grace, and I like the vegetation on the left.

As mentioned lovely image, light and super low angle. Vegetation and sand grains add so much.
