Default Great Crested Grebe in evening light

Yesterday I tried my new 500 mm lens with the Canon 2 x TC.
Well, it worked; the birds, we have here tend to be very skittish, and it helps a lot to use a TC.

First time I made pictures of the Crested Grebe.

Very nice light, Rosl, it looks a bot soft to me, though...

Rosl I like the composition and the reflection. I'll agree with Fabs about the softness. Could it do with a bit of CW rotation?

Hi Rosl besides what already mentioned, there is something in front of the bird that needs to be cloned out. I do like the reflection and water colors!

As above, and wish that the reflections had been surrounding the bird. later and love, artie
