This is the male of Jim Neiger's specially friendly pair, seen in the Lake Kissimmee area. I was happy to get the bird in flight nearly full-frame, and liked the white cloud breaking up the blue sky background. Would have wished for a wide open eye, and an image sharp overall.
IDM3, 400 DO; 1/2500, f/6.3, ISO 800, shot about 4 pm. I think f/8 might have done the trick.
Hi Tom, Nicely done. Agree with your wish for a wider open eye. You might consider reducing the CYAN SAT in the sky.
