    Default Theme: Brown Creeper

It was only the movement of this bird that caught my eye, otherwise I never would've spotted it agains the tree trunk. When startled or threatened they sometimes press themselves against the bark flattening their body making it almost impossible to see them. In this image it was doing its typical feeding routine, working its way from the bottom of the tree upwards, when it paused briefly I took the shot.

    Jim,

Nice job, I like this one and it is topical with the theme. Nice detail for 1/250 shutter. Great narrative regarding their hiding tactics too - thanks for sharing.

Hi Jim, not only a great theme image but a great image overall. Very nice work! This is a very tough bird to capture. Congrats!
