Taken last fall and getting ready for the fall migration which will be winding up soon. Although rather mean, they do have a grace about them. Appreciate the C & C and thanks for looking.

Killer droplets--not just the stuff dripping from the bill but the drops on the head and neck--with a perfect head angle. Sharp as all get out. Hard to tell if the WHITEs could go a bit brighter and if it needs a bit of CW rotation....

great HA. Agree with Artie about the drops on the neck and back. I really like the ripples in the water as well,

    Gary:

Great detail, well exposed, drops cool

I might be tempted to try a version with a little crop from left, but very nice as is.

    Cheers

My first reaction was oh my gosh this image is sharp! I love the water droplets and the light. Whites and horizon look good to my eyes. Agree with Randy for taking a tad off of the left b/c I think it would give more emphasis to the bird's head.

Wonderful image Gary... love the head angle and eye contact, and the detail is amazing. I also agree about possibly cropping some along the left, and also think doing so will make this have even more impact. Great work!

Thanks all appreciate it! Never really know how far to crop in on a shot like this.
