I love antique and muscle car shows. I find there are interesting and colorful compositions galore and offer real challenges in composition and PP.
I have found the best light is an overcast day which reduces the glare. Unless you go in tight there will invariably be objects and information you don't want to show.
One should try to minimalise that so you have less cleanup work.
The above image was shot at a local car event. One of the biggest on the east coast is held in Parsippany, NJ every year on labor day weekend and has a 50"s theme. Missed it this year.

Hi Dave....I too have found these muscle cars really fun to photograph....I like the cool and warm colors playing off each other here and the fg " Cool Breeze" is perfect"....good seing!
A nice image here...strong color elements against the white of the car body...great use of your DOF (what lens did you use?)...wonderful handling of the whites. My only suggestion...I wish you had that same little hint of a fender curve on the left that you do on the right...that subtle little compositional element helps set off the car for me. Great job!
Nice shot, Dave, great looking classic car. Good exposure, strong graphic image, like the symmetry. The spare cover makes a good anchor for the vertical frame and the tight frame emphasizes the car's "muscle". Though it is minor, do agree with John on wishing for just a bit more room on the left.
