    ~I was glad that this Burrowing Owl was curious about what I was doing and posed for me. Chose a nice clean BG. I usually do not like to place my bird in the center but I feel that this shot it works best.

    I didn't realize the eyes of a juvie are brownish. These little guys are so much fun that they always make me smile to see them, either in person or on the computer! Did you consider a vertical crop for this image?

    Troy, very nice. you must've been very close. I also think central placement works. That gradient BG is superb.

    Nice detail and I would consider a vert crop, do you have more of the bird?

    Thank you guys. I did not like the vertical crop because of the man-made perch.

    Hi Troy, nice lookback pose, I like the overall sharpness. I would lighten it's right iris to equal the brightness of it's left, maybe curves adjustment a tad brighter.
