    Polar bear from the not yet Great White North, eh :~)

    Hit a bit of wi-fi so I thought I would post an image from our Arctic Safari.
    Off for caribou tomorrow.

    1D Mark IV, 24-70 @68mm
    Manual, 1/80 @ f/4, IS8O 400
    Post-production- 15in MBP, LR3, CS5, NIK

    I love this image. It is such a different environment and the flowers take this image to a new level. I love the comp. A keeper for sure,

    I honestly had never seen such a shot of a polar bear like this. Sure you did not do a "double exposure" on film shot from last week's trip to Africa? hope you continue to find a wifi...looking forward to more shots.

    This is sucha beautiful image. A Polar bear in the most unexpected of surroundings. As Layton asked, how did you manage this ?

    This particular image was taken through a perimeter fence.

    FYI- the Northern lights have been spectacular!!!!
