    Photographed this ptarmigan on Mount Evans the other day. Really like the way their plumage is starting to change. Was trying to go for a different kind of image. Thanks for looking.

    I like this. It's abstract and gives an appreciation of how this bird blends into its environment- the OOF rock blending with the feather pattern. I would take a fraction off the bottom - just below the bottom coloured feather. TFS

    This picture really shows off the camouflage the feathers provide.Great BG color compliments the bird well.I like the pose but am not crazy about the composition. I think I would go even tighter and if you have it, add more to the right,
