    Hi Dan. You captured a beautiful flower in interesting light with excellent sharpness. I like the more simple comp where you have isolated a single flower. Because the flower is facing to the left, I would suggest cropping about 2.5 inches from the right. This would also remove some of the very bright areas from the LR which are tending to draw my eye. In my view, this tweak will make your strong image even better.

    Hi Dan. This is a beautiful bloom...subtle coloring and and textures...and Steve makes a good observation regarding the simple composition and the isolation of the bloom. I echo his suggestion from cropping...and might consider burning the LLC a bit to tone down the competing color...and maybe open up the shadows just a bit on the face of the primary bloom. This is my favorite of your series so far, and I hope you have more in store...I could easily lose myself at this location for several hours!
