    Default Green Frog Fractalius

One from last weekend at Horseshoe Lake. Found this guy on a log in the marsh, leaned out over the canoe and positioned the camera near the water's surface so that I could shoot at a somewhat upward angle. I mostly wanted to concentrate on frogs last weekend as they will be starting to hibernate soon.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, Great pose and fracting. I'm debatting a slice off the bottom to clean up the lower edge but I do like the way it shows the hollow log. Nice job!

Very nice pose, capture and frac treatment, Andrew! The frog really has a nice glow to it, and like the enhanced texture of the log. I might tone down the lighter green and orange leaf area just behind its nose a bit, but still very nicely done!

Andrew, your effort and patience achieving the low angle paid off; it offers a unique perspective. I like being able to peer into the log...beautiful job of processing on the frog and the log. I'd be tempted to tone down the BG in general; the combination of color and lighter tones draws my eyes away from the subject a bit. There's such an impression of depth in the foreground of this image...almost 3D. Well done!

Hi Andrew, Good positioning of the frog along with filter application. Toning down the backround a bit seems like a good idea but other than that I would leave as is...good one!

Neat image and application, Andrew (aka Froggie Man???)

Like the fract treatment, again just enough without overdo.

Thanks folks for the comments, much appreciated. I will tone down the background a little. The red behind the frog is an upside down water lily leaf. Thanks again for the suggestions.

Hello Andrew, I like this image a lot and wouldn't change a thing. I don't find the bg distracting at all, the levels are much lower than those on the frog. Excellent fract work as always, and a very appealing image. Well done!

This is one of the handsomer frogs I've seen. The pp work brings out the frog's best. Toning down the bg is a minor thing. I might crop a bit off the bottom. Very nice work.
