    Default my first night photo (dedidacated to Roman)

    ..dedicated to Roman for his teaching. Some distraction: sorry it'a Tiff file, I'm not sure to understand why thre's areddish cast.
    Nikon D300 17-35 at 30 f3.5 ISO400 time: 14 minutes Wb:daylight NR on long times (right?)
    InPP: only sharpening in USM 56-4-2.
    I suppose,selfcritique, it lacks a FG. But...i's quite mu first.

    Hey Valerio,
    Looks like something moved in this as the mountian has a ghost. Did you make sure image stabalization was off too....but definitely looks like it was moved during the exposure. The tripod has to be rock solid. Reddish color can be from either light pollution or some color noise in the D300. If this wasn't ghosted.....the mountain would make a nice FG!

    Hi Valerio, I think Roman hit the points on how the image could have been ghosted. I too feel the camera was moved during the exposure. I also feel there is a good chance the image was hit with some light pollution.
    If this were mine I would remove or tone down the 2 bright trails on the left. They tend to draw my eye...

    YES, thanks. I made a sligfht touch on the tripod.
