The kind of side lighting was giving the scene a painting like feel. I hope i have done justice to what i saw with my eyes.

Hi Ramesh , I like the conception and composition of the image. The wind blown mane and grasses add to the mood and the BG is great. Nicely done.

The feel and mood of this one are very nice Ramesh! I would be tempted to evict the darker patch up top and the rock on the RH side......but very minor as the windblown look really shines here!

A nice composition and mood to this image. I like the curving, dark line of vegetation running through the lion and center of the image. I'd prefer it a touch lighter overall but not by much.

Brilliant cross light and cross wind here !!! Really makes it look like a painting . If it were mine , would have cropped it a bit closer to avoid the rock ? on the RHS or maybe cloned it later . Lovely one , dude .

Another lovely "look-back" pose here Ramesh...
I love the quality of the light (as you describe - painterly) and the wind-blown mane. Is that a lion's back on the RHS or a rock??
I like how the greens offer an addition to the colour palette.
