    Wonderful shot. Great shooting angle, great pose, and sharp. I really like the patches of sea weed as they add some contrast to the shot. Well done.

    Yes, it is a black bellied plover. Lovely low angle, nice walking pose. I like the slight blue in the BG. HA is good. Nice image,

    Too bad about the white-out BG. Otherwise, great IQ with your teleconverter, Troy; your plover is tack sharp. I appreciate your typical good low perspective, and I like your record of a black-bellied still with some hints of breeding plumage.

    As Artie pointed out to me in All About Birds, the vestigial hind toe clinches the ID as BBPL. It's a great shot, looks like you got the fill flash just right. I like the light BG -- gives it kind of a high key look.

    Nice one Troy, I like the faded BGD up top, nice detail and raised foot is nice too.
